Dome

My morning meeting extended from 9.30am to 2.30pm, I then arrived late for my next meeting in Manchester. So at 4pm I decided it was time for lunch and headed to the Central Library, so I could have  a bite to eat and catch up on e-mails.

Before leaving I headed up to the Reading Room. It is an impressive space, and there were lots of people working away. Even more impressively it was totally silent. Before taking the photo of the inside of the dome above, I switched off the sound on my phone. If it had made its usual clicking noise, lots of eyes would have turned in my direction. Far too embarrassing.
