Rosey Lea

Today, we once again went into Bishop’s Stortford and had breakfast there, before buying a couple of tap parts, that had failed immediately before we went out; hence our journey.  However, we also took our cameras, so I took a picture of the tearoom, the Rosey Lea, where we had our breakfast.  Subsequent to that, we went for a walk along the towpath of the River Stort.  I am still trying to get to grips with this little camera, which has superb good points and dreadful bad points, so there is a dichotomy regarding my feelings for it.  The first extra picture was taken, trying to get my ducks in a row, once again there is a very significant lag between pressing the button and the picture being taken.  The second extra picture was taken while the duck had its beak horizontal above the water, by the time that the shutter opened he was eating his breakfast!  I still do not know whether I like or dislike this camera, but I have established that it is capable of getting very sharp pictures over a considerable range of distances, but would be useless for any activity with action in it; quite good for still life though.

During this trip, due to the degree of lack of feeling in my hands and lower extremities, I got far colder than I had realised, so that my fingers and hands did not function very well, when we stopped for a coffee, and my legs had great difficulty in permitting me to move about freely.  I really must remember that I have got a lot of limitations at present, I had not realised that I did not feel the cold as I should do.
