Antibiotics

Backblipped on 21st January

During our traumatic labour and birth Baby L picked up an infection (meconium issue, high temperature at birth) so she needs antibiotics three times a day for five days. We have to wheel her down the corridor to the Special Care Baby Unit where she has antibiotics administered through a cannula in the back of her little hand. Poor little mite doesn't understand what is happening to her and she screams a scream that tears my heart into bits every time.
