Summertime, summertime!

Yes, this what summer at Tarawera is all about.

Joined the "gaggle of girls" for the swim across the lagoon this morning, the grandies along with their mates joined us. A perfect sort of day.

We invited quite a few of the holiday makers to join us this afternoon at 4 for a cruise around to Humphries Bay...think there were 18 on the boat to start with, and the kids and the bigger kids all enjoyed jumping off the roof.
Two more boats joined us and we ended up with almost 40, the adults enjoying a social time while the kids kept swimming.
Travelled back home with the two boats and the floating sofa being towed by Wakarua...see extra.

Just love these impromptu social gatherings, to me it sums up a Tarawera summer.
