Slippery Sunday

The boys again, sorry :)
As the weather was just gorgeous (but nippy) we headed out for a bit of a beach walk. My boys usually spent most of the time at the beach, running around, collecting sticks, having stick fights, making an atempt to dam the sea from the beach (I love that part!), climbing rocks, but today they were fascinated by the damage the recent storm had done to the dunes and the beach itself.

One thing that got them really going was the "massive slip" as they called it, right next to the picnic table we have used on many of our visits to this beach. Even some sand from underneath the concrete patch has been washed away!

There were many photo opportunities with more slips, beach extension due to sand run of the hills by the rain, and of course the many awesome sticks my boys found. One in particular was regarded special as it apparently represents a weapon used in one of their computer games. Apparently, as I am a non-computer game playing person. Must be a fast extincting group, those non-gamers :)
