That's what they call it...a short, sharp, sudden snowstorm. This one left us with a very unexpected 2". So unexpected that no one had prepared for it, so the streets and footpaths are sheets of ice. This is only a prelude to The Big Occasion, on Friday and Saturday, for which we are still being promised 24".
