Yellow

After al the grey and blue of recent days a burst of yellow seems needed.

The day in the office was strangely quiet ( in phone and email terms) which allowed for s lot of much needed catching up.

The pace of the new year is quickening with an increasingly crowded set of meetings and discussions about what we need to do in 2016-17.

So it was good to have a few minutes to think and reflect on priorities and what we need to achieve and what we can deliver.

Relaxed in the evening making leek and potato soup and catching up on the final episode of the first series of Madam Secretary. Not quite in the same league as West Wing but hugely enjoyable and addictive!
