Angel Oak

   This tree is estimated to be older than 1000 years, and one of the oldest trees in the US.  The Angel Oak was reduced from the chainsaw by a woman who was inspired by the resilience of it.  As a result of her dedication and tenacity,  Angel Oak is now safe.
   It takes 35 men, hand to hand, to surround the trunk of the Angel Oak.  Some of her branches are supported by 4x4, or curled to the ground and come up to the air again.  Some of the branches are as thick as the trunks of oaks are here in Florida.  
    The extras are angles of the branches as they leave the trunk reach out anywheres from 20-30 feet.
