New Climbing Route

I have not done any rock climbing in over twenty five years.
And I must admit when I approached this face I was more than intimidated. After looking it over I decided I could do it!
And I was going to do it without ropes.

This piece of petrified wood is something that Layne picked up in Arizona a very long time ago, and the moss has kicked into gear this past winter. And that was without pouring buttermilk on it, which is a promoter of moss I read once. I have dribbled buttermilk on one of our north facing brick walls but since it is facing north, l don't really know if the trick works. It is very mossy.

Anyway, I was able to traverse this wall from a distance of a few feet and came out unscathed! Lucky for those that want to participate in Abstract Thursday, tomorrow, and need to be reminded to use the tag AT30.

This successful pitch was not hard and am glad that saving blip appears to have been successful as well.
