Foggintor Quarry

Thank you all for my birthday wishes today and yesterday. A bit like the Queen, I had my official birthday yesterday with lunch out because Marian was busy today but today is my actual birthday. The sun shone for me too so I headed out to Foggintor Quarry, which is getting a fair way towards the western side of the moor. It's been on my list for a little while and today seemed an ideal time to do it.

It was lovely out there but flipping Chilly. I was pleased I'd put my padded walking trousers on. I took a flask and sandwiches and found myself a place sheltered from the wind where I could sit down and enjoy the view while I ate them.
