Degu

I was in the old town today doing my pottery but I wont bore you all with more of my creations!  I wont even bore you with my free coffee and newspaper from local store nearby!  On way home I called into the local Pet's store to find photos of such a wide variety of pet's you can buy now, I found this cute little creature, said to be in the squirrel family, called a Degu.   I had to ask the lady as there seemed to be nothing in the cage at first but she came along and out they popped from out of the tube where they hiding!  I think they look bit like hamsters or gerbils! But head is squirrel like with up pricked ears!
