Gigha Ferry

Tonight will be my first ever night away from the Bug. I am away doing fieldwork in Kintyre, and at the moment I am sat in my hotel room trying not to think of the distance between us or how the night will be for N and the Bug at home. The Bug has never once slept through!

Carrying out the fieldwork has been good despite some pretty rubbish weather. I had a very snowy trip over to Balloch, which I enjoyed despite getting lost repeatedly, and finished the day with a cracking neon orange sunset. It's nice to be outdoors! We also had a rainy and fleeting visit go Gigha. The ferry staff were very friendly and made my day.
