Hurrah...our new sofas have arrived!

Moving our old corner sofa into the conservatory yesterday meant M and I watching TV trying to share a (not large) upholstered foot stool (it was cosy!).
Happily, today, our two new sofas have arrived...so tonight, we could, if we wanted to, have a sofa each.
We're very pleased with them and now just need the new curtains to be fitted, a fireplace to be installed, the room to be decorated, a new light fitting...etc. etc.  But that's all for another day!

Now stir the fire, and close the shutters fast, Let fall the curtains, wheel the sofa round, And, while the bubbling and loud-hissing urn Throws up a steamy column, and the cups, That cheer but not inebriate, wait on each, So let us welcome peaceful evening in.
