A gorgeous day today...one that we'd be happy to have in June, even with the very heavy frost.
I did the same walk as yesterday, but the opposite way round, and without any beach tidying. I saw a dead otter: I have never seen an otter in the wild, dead or alive, so was fascinated to see it, despite a lot of decomposition. Disappointing that it was on a single-track side road, so no excuse for a vehicle killing it, if that is what happened. Good to know that we do have otters in the vicinity.
This cormorant was enjoying the sunshine - I stopped for about 5 minutes to take pictures of a small group of them, and he stood with his wings out, taking some rays, as ducks glided (glid?!) past, the whole time.
A couple of extras today, to give a sense of how sunny it has been.
