They have been empty for nearly three years after the residents were evicted for refurbishments.

Well, the properties are still empty and hundreds of million of Naira claim to have been spent on nothing. Nothing new in Nigeria.

The only thing they appear to be used for now is putting huge advertisements over the frontaage.
