Pond frozen

What a stunning day. Woke up to a sharp frost then the sun rose to give a sparkling winter's day; the like of which we haven't seen too many of this winter so far.

Had a visit from the financial advisor then went for a walk to exchange a present Susan had bought but didn't like when she got it home.

Spent the late afternoon at a Governing Body meeting where I'm a school governor. It went on a bit; we weren't really focused at times. Before that there was time to call in at Waitrose for some bread flour and a farm shop near the school to pick up some vegetables.

Looks like it's going to be another cold one tonight but it seems it will be much milder by the weekend.
