Train to York for a pleasant blether-slash-appraisal with a colleague before continuing the journey on to the bright lights of Essex.

I was jolly pleased to discover that moving pictures have reached this remote part of the country and that they were playing The Revenant.

Which wasn't jolly at all. But awfully good filmaking nonetheless. I do wish they wouldn't mumble so though...
