Drinky-poos

Another early morning and I was very rudely awakened by my alarm - might have been best night's sleep I have had in a while - either that or I was just knackered!  Had a good lunch setting the world to rights with L. Even if my pie was full of stupid mushrooms (so basically I enjoyed the pastry and then gave up!)

At almost 7.30pm and after messages to shift myself to the pub I snuck out to go meet M and G for pimms (well I was drinking pimms!).  M was then summonsed back home so G and I stayed for a bit longer until we decided it was time for food - and more drinks!  It was really nice to have a proper grown up chat where the person I was talking to seemed actually keen to chat and get to know me better (it might have been the drink though ;-) ) - feels like it's been ages since I've had one of those chats!

And there went my plans to have an early night - didn't get back to hotel until after midnight!
