Being a stay at home mum has it's advantages when I get to ferry children to an indoor athletics festival and watch how brilliantly they did. For years we have always come last at district sports against the other local schools. Today we were 2nd out of 8 schools with 292 points. Tomorrow we find out how we did compared to the 8 schools that took part this morning. There were 2 of our rival schools this afternoon and we beat them both. Even the kids got excited!

I'm going to be a good girl and go to bed before 11pm and read my book.
