Fruits of Winter

Another day of our winter that has finally happened in this confusion of seasons and nature.  Today has been very cold but there has been some absolutely glorious light.  We went out into the fields by the pool this afternoon and the sun was low in the sky glinting off the grasses along the margin of the icy pool.  I liked the fragility and strength of this grass standing tinily proud.
