Mallard Ducks

Another beautiful sunny day but cold. The Council usually come and turn off the water and drain it down when the toilets close but this year they have not done it. As the water supply to them is our private water supply and if the toilets freeze and then there is a burst pipe the water will empty out of the tank on the hill and we will have no water and it is a bit of a pest getting it running so TC and I decided to turn the water off and drain down ourselves. We also turned the electricity off at the mains. All a lassies job so who needs a plumber and an electrician to do that.
Outside the toiles there were the geese and the ducks looking for some bread.
