Frosted anthers
Another hard frost, which made walking along the river much more pleasant, though there were still localised areas of flooding and patches of mud under the trees. Unfortunately, having been promised a sunny day, it was largely cloudy which rather reduced the glitter factor.
However, I did find a young cherry-plum coming into flower in the shelter of an ash, its petals and anthers rimed with tiny frost crystals. Winter and spring combined into a single image.
