Hydrangea

What wonderful news we awoke to in the Southern Hemisphere this morning - our wonderful community will continue.  We have much to be grateful to Annie, Bob, Graham and Ian at Blipfuture.  

We scooted out for a walk this morning, thinking we would get home before the predicted rain arrived.  Not So - two drowned rates returned :)

We have had enormous amounts of rain since late morning, the flooding in Timaru made the national TV new tonight....its years since we have had so much rain in one day.  We measured 70mm just a while ago, and it is still pouring, but not to the degree that it was earlier.

Had friends come in this afternoon - hope they all got home safely in this weather.
