Ice Age

We took the boys to the Natural History Museum today for a birthday treat. It's really impressive and a lot has been improved since the last time I went which could easily be ten years. This is a giant armadillo which was roaming around Argentina circa 10,000 years ago or 8,000BC if you prefer. The patterns on the shell particularly caught my attention. We spend a lot of time watching Ice Age 2 at the moment so struck a chord with Thomas and Alexander as well. Great day out but best sampled when all are at work like today.
