I noticed these dangling from a Hazel tree this morning on our way back home after going into town for a few things.

Bright yellow/green male catkins, or so I believe. I'm sure they are at least a month earlier than normal!!?

All the snow has melted overnight, leaving a damp grey day today, chilly but not cold. I went out into our garden briefly to put out some mealworms for the birds and noticed that our water but is full to the brim, it's lid was literally floating on top! All our plastic thugs are overflowing too........such a shame to,pour it away, as I'm sure we will need it in a few months.......fingers crossed ;-)

I've put a couple of items on eBay today, if they sell, I will be pledging more to Blips future.

The total is steadily rising, and with PayPal, we must be close to £130k......but still a way to go.
