Aliens

The heat is unbearable and as I was headed to the pool with a cold one, I spotted a bee resting in the hollow of one of my gladiolus flowers.

"Hmm, This could be a good blip." I didn't expect his unhappiness when I poked the lens into his little bee face and to my surprise he slowly lifted his head and bared his teeth at me!

For a brief moment I felt like Sigourney Weaver in Aliens which was just too much for my heat addled brain and as the bee buzzed in angry circles around my head, I turned tail and ran like the dickens!

I hope everyone in the heat band is either someplace cool or in a pool! I'm going to fix me a new cold one and get the party started. Happy Saturday!
