Mischief in Mono

A classic (not in composition, but in subject matter) Beagle shot.
Hound rose from his slumber (lunchtime after all) and swaggered into the kitchen with an air of confidence. He was intent on mutiny, to hell with the rules, he knew there was a cheese toastie to be had and in this life if you don't make a bid for it you're not gonna get it.
I could have 'done better' but then this was not one for which Hound was going to pose.
