On borrowed lens'...

Tonight was my brother's engagement party so we were through in Glasgow for a wee gathering at the ringmakers that designed the ring.

I noticed this building looking particularly stunning all lit up at night, last week but I only had Mr PointAndShoot with me coupled with the pre-christmas George Square works on, meant I couldn't get anywhere near decent angle.

I got my final bit of kitting out for the weekend in the form of a nice wide angle lens so this seems as good a subject as any to start to get used to it.

I was going to ask for some Glasgow residents to tell me what the building is but t'internet superhighway in the form of Wikipedia (I reckon if you can't find the answer in a Google search or Wikipedia, it doesn't exist) informs me that this is in fact the Glasgow City Chambers on the West side of George Square.
