Flowers for the teacher

Last day of class with my lovely 6-7 year olds.

I received these from the son of one of a divorced mother in the class. At parent's day we'd had a good chat about the challenges of being a single mother in a country like Egypt. It was very hard hearing how it's not an easy life, especially as she has no family here either.

The flowers were a lovely gesture and I was touched to receive them.
