At rest

Activity on the land is much reduced on a Sunday although some smallholders can be seen at work.  The cropping machines, however, stand at rest and I saw this one on today's walk.  I extended the walk a little but it was further than I thought to do the full circle.  It doesn't really matter which way I set off from the house, the views are always the same.   In the afternoon, I caught up with the football and then took granddaughter's birthday present round.  Tonight I shall try to master all the characters in the excellent BBC production of War and Peace.
