2016 Saturday -- Sundown Show

When we woke early this morning it was raining, but by 9:00 a.m. the moisture was beginning to dry.

We spent most of the day in the new remodeled upstairs living quarters of our little beach home. Mr. Fun put together the new queen-sided bed frame and he did odds and ends of other things while I worked on cleaning the new tile floor in the kitchen and entry-way, which is absolutely beautiful.

Then I started the job of wiping away the layer of construction dust on the new kitchen counter-tops and then wiping clean the insides of the new cabinets.

I got the kitchen half done when we decided to take a quick drive to Morro Bay to get supplies and dog food. We were in a hurry, though, because one priority every day is to see the sundown show.

And the show today was spectacular. We watched for at least 90 minutes after the sun went below the horizon. As that time was ending, we warmed our dinner and sat at our little card table in the sunset room eating and talking and pinching ourselves.

We think our construction guys will be completely done this coming Wednesday, and that's exciting.
