The Kit

A slow start to the day watching the snow fall down through the trees out the big picture windows. But then we had to take our leave, motoring down the side of the Clyde and into central Glasgow. A very cool little hotel occupying the 6th floor above Central Station. Help yourself to cakes and anything else you fancy. Which we did.
Out though the snowy streets to the Goma and then back to warm up (and catch up - Hearts winning 6-0!) before stepping out, via a Mexican restaurant to the Drygate Brewery to see Kate Stables aka This is the Kit, supported by the Aidan O'Rourke band. Really excellent stuff - I loved some of her more folky stuff with the banjo particularly, but this is the encore with Aidan which was fab, so it was.
Then off, sliding back to the Hotel with the briefest of stops in at Babbity's for a warming dram. Top day all round.
