The river in winter

A lovely early walk before getting ready to go to Edinburgh. It's cold but there's no wind so walking was easy. Bit slippery underfoot. The Abbey, hills and river all looked good and in the end I chose the river.

A very good start to Celtic Connections for us last night. Old Blind Dogs and Finlay MacDonald in a fairly small space made the walls bounce. What a marvellous idea it was to have so much music in January. More to come over the next couple of weeks
