The Unknown one

Few leaves in this bush keep hanging on, and the colors turning prettier and prettier every day. I cannot recall its name, it's a fairly recent addition to the yard.
After breakfast out with friends, John and I spent most of the day cleaning the basement, a long overdue project. We didn't get done, but made good progress.
The extra is of a Pine Siskin after his bath.
