In the Gutter

Stupid bloody weather!
This is the lane outside my house which has turned into a stream!
Really, really, really had enough of it now.
I'm not one of those that moan about how rubbish English Summers are. They're not really - we generally get a mixture of sun and rain and just forget the sun as soon as it rains!
But this is getting ridiculous now - floods, people dying in cars, everything being cancelled or pretty much ruined.
We're off to Suffolk on Monday and the forecast is not good! Great, another holiday in the pouring rain with two young children to entertain......
On a more positive note, Miss E went to a fab crazy golf party this morning. It was the seventh birthday party of one of her school friend's brothers. The friend was allowed to choose one special friend to go and she chose Miss E!
The crazy golf was pirate themed with a massive pirate ship, cannons, treasure chests and water hazards where you had to pull a raft over on ropes!!! It was fantastic and as rubbish as the little ones were - we stopped scoring after the first few holes!! - they loved it!!
And it stopped raining long enough for us not to get soaked. A miracle!
