My grandson and me

Bryan recently graduated from the University of Michigan. For the past year or so, he and his wife Nikki, a resident physician in pediatrics at a hospital in NYC, have lived part time in Kent, Ohio, where they both grew up, part time in Toledo, Ohio, with daily commutes to Ann Arbor, and part time in NYC. Now they have reached a turning point because Bryan, a former Army Ranger, graduated from the University of Michigan last week, so they will be able to settle down in one location instead of commuting between Kent, Toledo, Ann Arbor, and New York City. It has been a challenging year, and we are very very happy to see them (and their dog Maya) together in one location. Yesterday, when Bryan was making the last long drive from Toledo to New York, we arranged to meet him for lunch as he came through Kent. It wasn't a long visit, but it was a good one. Nikki and Bryan, we're proud of you both!
