It was minus 4.5 degrees as we drove home from the airport early this morning.
Poor S had to pay excess on her baggage and having forgotten about crossing the International Dateline on her way back to NZ, she faces the unmistakable challenge of going straight to work on her return!

Anyway our darling daughter is on her way and it was fantastic to have her here for a while.

Today's blip is my good friend Nicky, who used to be my work colleague.
We enjoy each other's company and always have loads to chat about.

She presented me with a beautiful jug and a present for my birthday next week (!).

By the time we parted in Stirling, it was quite snowy and the journey home was cold and frosty. Both safe and sound now however and glad to be cosy at home in the warmth of our loved ones.

S and N-two funny, beautiful, warm and intelligent people who make a difference for others with their talents and hard work. I am fortunate to call them friends and my life is richer because of them.
