Well I wasn't going back to bare wood but...

I intended to just sand and flatten.

However thirty odd years of nicotine and paint were proc by to be my worst nightmare.

So it was out with heat gun and the bare wood slowly made an appearance.

The smell was incredible and I can still smell it now.

Hopefully next week I will get the rest off and then the sanding will begin again.

I am on a mission.
