Woods at Blackford
Another busy Saturday.
Awake at 6, crazy time for a weekend. Had to be down town early to get two new tyres on my car but not this early! Deposited the car at Kwik Fit and went to Nero for my breakfast. M and s for some stuff for mum and then banking done. Picked up car and then up to Mum dropping off her shopping and a quick chat. She has been ill this week and feeling a bit fed up...
Home for some broth soup and then togged up as picking up the boys and headed to Blackford for some snow fun. It's always deeper there as I know from living 22 years in the village.. Breagha was like a dog possessed as she tore up the Brae with the boys in hot pursuit throwing snowballs.
They found sticks and were climbing the fallen tree trunks. We found a shelter under the roots of a big tree then we saw a couple of wild deer a short distance away. They are just like reindeer says Ben! We had a wander in the old Cemetry next and answered a few questions Ben had about graves and bodies ...
Home and some music on for a dance and singing. Cameron was amazed that I knew all the words to Bohemian Rhapsody ! He got an iPod for Christmas and has put a lot of music on. Was pleased to see he had Born to Run on it:). All that brainwashing when he was young us belting out Bruce in my car has had the desired effect. Good taste for a ten year old!!
Cameron is away to the swimming disco and Ben is drawing me pictures but I'm struggling to keep eyes open and it's only 7pm!
