Ice on the canal, ice, ice ice

Ice everywhere, including the pavements where I live. As  I did last year and probably the year before I got out my snow spade, went to the gritting bin, and gritted some of the pavements. It didn't make me feel good it made me MAD! Why does no other focker living here think to do that? (There are three big yellow grit bins in the vicinity.) Are they waiting for the council, in which case they will wait a long time. Who was that character? 'IT MAKES ME MAD!' You'll be pleased to know I am now quietly chilling with a beer. I may require another one. (See extra pic.)
