Day 226: - Winter Walk
The tops were still snowy and the ground was frozen at last - no wellie scraping required. We had a contemplative walk around Digley, walking in companionable silence while the dog soaked up the repeated admiration for her polka dot coat from passers by.
A very good friend of mine from my home town, a total muso, has organised an open mic Bowie tribute night tonight in Plymouth. He was the person who first introduced me to David Bowie and I really wish I could be there. Not to sing - that wouldn't be much of a tribute - but to share some memories with old friends. Instead, we shall eat lasagne, watch a Harry Potter film in tribute to another loss this week, and snuggle up against the cold.
Stay warm.
