Nyctophobia..

I picked up this tricksy little book called "Murderous maths - Number, the Key to the Universe".     First thing I saw was this cartoon which accompanies a discussion of phobias - particularly of the number 13.

However, the cartoon got me thinking about the nature of anxiety and phobia.    I haven't got too many unusual ones, I think.    I don't like exposed heights...that kind of thing.    But for those who are true sufferers they can be very life-diminishing.

Also, I learned a new word......

But I should blame most - but not all - of the blurriness here on a very cheap, printed paperback book.   The rest is due to a sequence of events.....
