International Air Tattoo

Air Show today - expected stair rod type weather but not too bad - only one major downpour and several showers!!

Many many contenders for blip today - mostly of aircraft - a few blurred - well you try panning an aircraft moving at 650 knots!

Anyway the final contenders were

1) The Jordan Experience - VERY disappointing - just some stuff about old ruins in a desert - not at all what I expected!!
2) A London bus that has been converted into a pub/bar - now that's what I call preservation
3) B2 Spirit bomber - awesome and threatening
4) An American unmanned aircraft - I think it is called a Predator - the main design concept seemed to have been - make it work - but most of all make it look evil and alien
5) This view of the Vulcan - I tried cropping it but I liked the view against the grey sky better

The Vulcan won - mostly in tribute to the bomber crews of WW2 and the memorial that was recently unveiled in Green Park
