A New Painting Beginning

One of my blip friends suggested I turn my photo into
a creation......I took his suggestion and you now see
it before its final colors are placed.  I am telling a
story again, but it becomes abstracted because my
imagery  is a macro photo of the small pond and the progression
of freezing with temperature drops.  Look and you will
find four goldfish under the ice.  The bubble effect
is the frozen ice rim.  to the right you will see open water
and the bubbling effect.  This will be a quite dark
composition because this is what I saw when I
took the photo.  Rich in color maybe?  I will publish
another progression photo tomorrow.

From afar, my son has been very actively involved
in keeping the goldfish alive in our winter clime, so
this painting is dedicated to him.
