Lessons

Our local swimming hole on the Buller was busy today.  We took Sebastian back down for a swim so he could show his Mum and Ben (who arrived last night) how he could play in the river.  

There was a group having a kayaking lesson.  It was day one of their white water kayaking course.  They begin in the school pool first thing in the morning, learning to roll then they head down to this relatively quiet part of the river just getting their stroke right and doing some real river rolling.  they'll be off to meet some real white water tomorrow.

There was a family swinging off the rope swing that is tied to a willow that hangs out over the water, and there were people picnicing up on the grass.  

And that's a cloudy day!  

Actually, a sunny one wouldn't really be that much different.
