Dolly on Iona

We drove along to Fionnport this morning to catch the ferry over to Iona, I was glad it was only a 10 minute crossing as it was fairly choppy! We were very lucky with the weather, the sun was shining by the time we reached Iona, perfect for wandering around! We visited the Iona Abbey, which was nice, although the museum was closed for winter! We had some time before our ferry, so we had a walk on the beach, where I found two lovely pieces of Iona marble as souvenirs, Lewis wasn't lucky enough to find any! We took a scenic route back to the hotel, where we saw the most amazing herd of deer standing on top of a cliff, it was a spectacular sight! Another tiring day, and still a very poor signal, craignure seems to be the only place on the island I can use my 3G, and only if I stand right at the window in my room!
