Chilly

This morning, I went to refill bird feeders & noticed this poor Goldfinch huddled against the kerb, it didn't look too well, but I scattered seed near it & it made an effort to pick one up. It was gone when I returned at lunchtime, I do hope it recovered, somehow.
I took a 1/2 day & headed to Donegal in daylight, to avoid frozen roads later, so that I can go to the Bird Watchers outing tomorrow.
I called in Omagh on my way & Dad had been at his club lunch & had cleared the driveway of snow & he was looking a lot better, I'm so glad to see the recovery progressing. They (Dad & Rosemary) are keeping Inca over the weekend, as they like to have her & she enjoys them & she cannot come out bird watching.
