Bulrushes

We took advantage of the lovely sunny weather which we had for a while here today, and went for a walk around a local wood. 
This pond with bulrushes is next to the path where we entered and exited the wood today, and I thought that they looked quite nice silhouetted against the dramatic clouds that soon brought us some sleet.
