Mini-Jungle

A nothing-in-particular day today, but glad that it's Friday :)
I tried to keep my eyes open for blip-potential but wasn't terribly inspired there either...so you get one of my favourite houseplants. I like varigated leaves, and this is the only one of this variety that I've seen with the bright red pigmentation. It's a rescue plant, as it was languishing sadly above a lab bench in desperate need of a re-pot so I repatriated it and now it sits on the corner of my hearth like a little bit of rainforest. No colour enhancement on this blip, it pretty much glows itself.

I'm supposed to be at "The Dogs" tomorrow eve, armed with the oh-so-reliable tip to "bet on the one wearing the stripey coat" - any tips on trying to catch moving greyhounds on a basic compact camera?? And no smart-alec answers like "Make sure you're the one holding the bunny"!!

Well...my aim is to at least give you two outside blips for the weekend...I'll see how I do with that.
