Day 15 - Hens Don't Do Snow

Stuck at home feeling yuk. Struggling for a subject so I let the hens out in a tiny amount of snow. What a fuss Polly made! Cackling and bouncing about the garden, she is a seriously high maintenance hen. A handful of meal worm calmed her down.

We had a little snow on Wednesday night and it has frozen solid, barely above freezing today, around 2C.

On the positive note the girls have started to lay, they are all purebreds and I don't usually get eggs till February.
